Hey Everybody

Been earning myself some cash to pay for my appartment in Dundee this year so I haven't really been doing anything animation related apart from drawing storyboards now and then.

Got myself more gametime recently and I have to say the situation with the clan has changed significantly since my last entry. We have two overlords in the clan once again. Feeling the strain of playing both European and American players on Halo 3, Zero decided that he needed another Overlord due to the fact he had to stay up at all times to answer challenges from players overseas. Now Wooten is one of the longest running members of the clan, in fact to me he's probably one of the founding fathers of our clan from the days of Halo 2, so it's no surprise that Zero would choose him to become an overlord. Wooten has proven himself time and again that he is a dependable and proficient player (the fact that he's a really nice guy also helps). The rest of the clan has also been more active as of late and it looks as though that OS won't just die quietly in the dark.

Movie-wise I haven't really seen many this summer mainly due to reviews and opinions from friends and colleques. The big titles such as Terminator Salvation and Transformers have so far shown little interest to me. Blood the last vampire was kak (there worse words for it from Zero, Knight and Kujax) and Bruno was pretty weird if not distrubing (however it was funny at times).

Apart from drawing storyboards and playing my 360, I've been working as a janitor at my dad's college. The old building that he used to work at was getting cleared out, so the facilities staff (including myself) got to clear out the building and smash some stuff that wasn't being transferred to the new building. Its quite therapeutic to take a hammer and smash a desk to pieces and I wish now that I had comnsidered Demolition as a profession. However the past couple of weeks have ground to a slow crawl as most of the work has been done and now we spend most of our time in the storeroom looking for loose work to be done. In the end the best part of it all is the money that's going towards paying for my flat this year.

Well that's all that comes to mind this time but stay tuned as I'll be talking about progress on the OS project in my next entry.
